With her naturally enthusiastic and dynamic personality, Kate is known for her unique approach to capturing audiences. She is a certified Everything DiSC® and PXT Select™ Trainer, as well as an accredited Five Behaviors of a Cohesive Team™ Facilitator. Leveraging her clinical, business, and leadership experience, she lectures nationally on how to build high-performing dental teams, improve communication, employee development/retention, best practices for marketing, and how to provide superior patient experiences in the digital age.
Over the last 22 years, Kate has gained a keen insight into the inner workings of over a hundred highly successful dental practices. It was through those experiences that she found her true passion: oral surgery. Having held every position within the oral surgery practice (except for the doctor, of course!), Kate works exclusively with existing and startup oral surgery practices nation-wide as a Practice Management Consultant. Within her consulting role, Kate’s areas of expertise include practice management and growth, process/systems development and improvement, change management, team building, and training. Previously, Kate was the Director of Consulting for a San Francisco Bay Area-based integrated and experiential marketing firm. Before leaving private practice, she was a Practice Administrator for a multi-doctor, multi-office oral surgery practice in central New Jersey. During that time, she was an active member of the SOMSA (formerly JAWS) and served on the Board of Directors, and remains an active member of the Education Committee today.
Originally from Colorado, Kate lives in Charlotte, North Carolina with her husband, Mark, and their two dogs, Baker and Tucker.

Over the last 14 years, Jenny has held several positions within the oral surgery office. Starting her journey as a surgical assistant, she then moved to the front of the house where she mastered the check-in and check-out workflows. From there, she moved into the role of Insurance and Billing Coordinator. Her most recent position was as an Implant Treatment Coordinator for a multi-doctor, multi-location practice, where she worked as a liaison between her office, implant patients, and their referring doctors, to ensure everyone had a smooth experience throughout the various phases of treatment.
Jenny joined the EverThrive team in September as a Client Success Manager. Her unique skillset and love for oral surgery shines as she loves helping streamline workflows for oral surgery clients nationwide.
Jenny lives in Virginia Beach, VA with her husband, two daughters, and their dog, Stella.

With an extensive background in oral surgery, Shannon brings a comprehensive understanding of practice functionality. She has worked over 12 years with a highly successful oral surgery practice and teaching center. She has led both clinical and administrative teams for a multi-doctor, multi-location practice. Shannon takes pride in developing new systems and improving processes. Utilizing her experience, she has helped to contribute to practice growth, marketing, and development of teams.
Shannon lives in Downers Grove, IL with her fiancé Joe, her daughter Gianna, and her two dogs Brady and Pepper. Her free time is spent reading, hiking, and traveling.
