Meet Kate Reid

Kate Reid is the founder of EverThrive Oral Surgery Consulting and the creator of the Patient-Centered Practice™—a strategic framework designed to optimize operations and elevate patient care. With over 26 years of experience in dentistry, and 23 years exclusively in oral surgery, she brings unmatched insight into the dynamics of high- performing oral surgery practices. Kate has held nearly every role in the practice setting (except the surgeon’s chair!) and now works with oral surgery teams across the country to support practice management, growth, systems development, and team performance.

Known for her energetic presence and engaging communication style, Kate is a nationally recognized speaker and educator. She is a certified Everything DiSC® and PXT Select™ Trainer, and an accredited Five Behaviors of a Cohesive Team™ Facilitator. Her lectures blend clinical, business, and leadership strategies to guide practices in team building, employee development and retention, marketing, and delivering superior patient experiences in a digital world.

Kate previously served as Director of Consulting at a Bay Area experiential marketing firm and as Practice Administrator of a multi-doctor, multi-location oral surgery group in New Jersey. She was a longtime Member of SOMSA (formerly JAWS), served on the Board of Directors, and remains active on its Education Committee today.

Meet Jenny Stedman

With 17 years in oral surgery, Jenny spent the first 14 years of her career inside the practice, advancing through roles from surgical assistant to front desk operations, insurance and billing coordinator, and ultimately Implant Treatment Coordinator for a multi-doctor, multi-location group. In each role, she developed a comprehensive understanding of the patient journey and practice operations.

Jenny joined EverThrive in 2022, bringing with her extensive hands-on experience and a deep passion for oral surgery. With a strong background in insurance and billing, she excels at helping practices streamline their revenue cycle—improving claim accuracy, reducing delays, and maximizing collections. Her comprehensive perspective, shaped by years in both clinical and administrative roles, enables her to support teams with practical, tailored solutions that enhance workflow efficiency and drive financial performance. Jenny continues to be driven by her love for the specialty and her commitment to helping practices thrive.

Meet Mark Reid

Mark has built an accomplished career in the technology and software industry, holding executive leadership positions at Oracle, SAP, and ADP. Growing up in Silicon Valley, technology was more than just a career path—it was part of his environment. Over the years, he developed deep expertise across finance, human resources, and the strategic leadership of high-performing sales teams. His ability to drive performance and deliver measurable results became a defining feature of his leadership style.

In 2021, Mark made a significant pivot by transitioning into healthcare marketing, joining California-based Firm Media. This shift introduced him to the world of oral surgery practices, where he helped practices expand their marketing reach and refine their digital footprint. By working closely with surgeons and practice managers, he gained valuable insight into SEO strategies and online visibility, playing a key role in helping providers attract and convert new patients through organic ranking improvements.

Mark’s passion for driving business outcomes led him to join EverThrive in 2023 as Chief Revenue Officer, working alongside his wife, Kate. At EverThrive, his focus lies in leveraging business analytics to assess practice performance, identify growth opportunities, and enhance overall revenue for oral surgery clients. His specialties include launching startup practices, expanding existing locations through data-driven planning, and advising executives through business turnarounds. With a background in software transitions, compensation modeling, and strategic operations, Mark brings a multifaceted perspective to the industry.

Meet Tanya Zaranyika

Tanya joined EverThrive in 2023, bringing extensive experience in revenue cycle management to support our team's ongoing success. With a strong foundation in claims processing, billing operations, and financial coordination, Tanya has demonstrated exceptional adaptability and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Throughout her career, Tanya has consistently stepped up to manage complex situations, streamline workflows, and resolve operational issues. Her ability to swiftly identify and address challenges has significantly contributed to maintaining efficient revenue cycles, especially during periods of transition and technological change.

Meet Jackie Caravella

Jackie Caravella is a seasoned healthcare operations leader with over 14 years of experience driving administrative, financial, and strategic improvements in oral surgery and dental practices. Within her role at EverThrive, she collaborates with practices across the country to optimize revenue cycle performance, resolve complex billing challenges, and implement systems that enhance financial transparency and efficiency.

Jackie’s leadership foundation was built during her tenure as Practice Manager at Oral Surgery Group, where she managed a 50-person team, implemented compliance-driven policies, led marketing initiatives to boost referrals, and improved patient experience. At MAX Surgical Specialty Management, she successfully directed a team of billing professionals responsible for multiple oral surgery offices, leveraging key performance metrics and cross-departmental coordination to streamline claims and collections.

Her hands-on approach and commitment to operational excellence extend to her previous experience at a general dental practice, where she enhanced office workflows, supply cost controls, and front-desk service delivery. Jackie is known for her ability to bridge the gap between clinical operations and administrative performance, consistently delivering results for both patients and providers.

Meet Kerri Archer, RDA

Kerri began her dental career in 1994 as a Registered Dental Assistant in New Jersey, quickly expanding her clinical expertise by working chair-side with world-renowned oral surgeons across the country. During this time, she led clinical trial studies, honed her skills as a surgical trainer for Nobel Biocare, and served as a part-time instructor in the dental assisting program where she once trained—sharing her knowledge through both hands-on workshops and surgical study group lectures.

Building on her clinical foundation, Kerri transitioned into practice growth and patient- coordination roles. In her prior position as Marketing and Practice Growth Manager for a solo oral surgery practice, she boosted the referral base by 198% and increased annual revenue by over $1.5 million. In her most recent role as Implant Treatment Coordinator, she maintained a consistent full-arch case close rate exceeding 45%, demonstrating her ability to translate patient education into measurable practice success.

In February 2025, Kerri joined EverThrive. With experience spanning both administrative and clinical roles in the private practice, hospital, and corporate practice setting, she brings a unique perspective on development of team training and implant workflows. Her blend of deep clinical insight, proven growth strategies, and passion for teaching makes her the perfect partner for streamlining and energizing our clients’ implant programs.

Dilaine Gloege, CDA, CPC

Dilaine is a nationally recognized insurance billing and coding expert who speaks, teaches, and consults on dental and medical billing. With over 38 years of hands-on experience in the dental industry—as a certified dental assistant, insurance coordinator, and practice administrator—she offers unmatched practical knowledge to the teams she supports.

In 2022, Dilaine founded Tidewater Dental Consulting, where she focused her extensive expertise into helping practices streamline billing and coding operations on a national level. She is an AAPC certified professional coder and a prolific author of several publications on coding and insurance. Dilaine is a sought-after speaker and educator, known for designing and leading impactful programs. She currently teaches four virtual courses for AAOMS, further extending her reach and influence within the oral surgery community.

That same year, Dilaine aligned with Kate and EverThrive OSC, bringing her experience and teaching acumen to oral surgery teams. She provides comprehensive education and support on a full range of medical and dental billing topics. Whether she’s consulting, speaking, or leading training sessions, Dilaine is driven by a deep commitment to developing expertise in others. We are truly fortunate to have her as part of our team.
