Meet Kate Reid

Founder and creator EverThrive Oral Surgery Consulting and the Patient-Centered Practice™, Kate Reid is a practice management consultant, coach, and speaker, with an exclusive focus on oral surgery practices.

With her naturally enthusiastic and dynamic personality, Kate is known for her unique approach to capturing audiences. She is a certified Everything DiSC® and PXT Select™ Trainer, as well as an accredited Five Behaviors of a Cohesive Team™ Facilitator. Leveraging her clinical, business, and leadership experience, she lectures nationally on how to build high-performing dental teams, improve communication, employee development/retention, best practices for marketing, and how to provide superior patient experiences in the digital age.

Over the last 22 years, Kate has gained a keen insight into the inner workings of over a hundred highly successful dental practices. It was through those experiences that she found her true passion: oral surgery. Having held every position within the oral surgery practice (except for the doctor, of course!), Kate works exclusively with existing and startup oral surgery practices nation-wide as a Practice Management Consultant. Within her consulting role, Kate’s areas of expertise include practice management and growth, process/systems development and improvement, change management, team building, and training. Previously, Kate was the Director of Consulting for a San Francisco Bay Area-based integrated and experiential marketing firm. Before leaving private practice, she was a Practice Administrator for a multi-doctor, multi-office oral surgery practice in central New Jersey. During that time, she was an active member of the SOMSA (formerly JAWS) and served on the Board of Directors, and remains an active member of the Education Committee today.

Originally from Colorado, Kate lives in Charlotte, North Carolina with her husband, Mark, and their two dogs, Baker and Tucker.

Meet Jenny Stedman

Client Success Manager

Over the last 14 years, Jenny has held several positions within the oral surgery office. Starting her journey as a surgical assistant, she then moved to the front of the house where she mastered the check-in and check-out workflows. From there, she moved into the role of Insurance and Billing Coordinator. Her most recent position was as an Implant Treatment Coordinator for a multi-doctor, multi-location practice, where she worked as a liaison between her office, implant patients, and their referring doctors, to ensure everyone had a smooth experience throughout the various phases of treatment.

Jenny joined the EverThrive team in September as a Client Success Manager. Her unique skillset and love for oral surgery shines as she loves helping streamline workflows for oral surgery clients nationwide.

Jenny lives in Virginia Beach, VA with her husband, two daughters, and their dog, Stella.

Meet Heather Trevarrow

Client Success Manager

Heather Trevarrow, EverThrive's newest Client Success Manager, brings a wealth of experience and a passion for communication to her role. With a robust background in oral surgery spanning nine years, Heather's journey began as a surgical assistant, steadily advancing to the position of Director of Operations. In her previous role, she successfully implemented numerous strategies that significantly contributed to the growth and success of the practice.

Heather is deeply committed to fostering open communication and building trust among her colleagues, and she has joined Everthrive with the hopes of extending these values to newly made friends and colleagues.

Born and raised in Northern Michigan, she carries with her the values of her roots as she looks forward to building strong connections and helping clients achieve their full potential at EverThrive.

Meet Mark Reid

Mark has held several executive positions in the technology and software industry (Oracle, SAP, and ADP) over his career. Growing up in the heart of Silicon Valley, technology and software have been a constant theme in his career as he gained extensive experience in finance, HR, and leading high-performing sales teams to achieve results.

In 2021, Mark switched industries entirely as he joined California-based Firm Media, where he worked with oral surgery practices to expand their marketing potential and gain insight into improving their organic online rankings.

Then in 2023, Mark joined his wife, Kate, and the team at EverThrive as CRO. His primary focus is utilization of business analytics to highlight where our oral surgery practices are performing best, and the opportunities for improvement, which ultimately helps optimize client revenue. Areas of expertise:

  • Startup practices, and expansion of existing practices, including location analysis and development of business plans
  • Executive business coaching and turnaround leadership
  • Profit and loss (P&L) management
  • Strategic and tactical planning
  • Software transition from on-premise to SaaS platforms
  • Recruiting, onboarding, and compensation programs

North Carolina is home, and as a graduate of North Carolina State University, he pulls for the Wolfpack. Mark and Kate live in Charlotte with their dogs Baker and Tucker.

Dilaine Gloege, CDA, CPC

Dilaine is an insurance billing and coding expert who speaks, teaches, and consults on dental and medical billing nationwide.

Dilaine founded Tidewater Dental Consulting in 2022. As a former certified dental assistant, insurance coordinator, and practice administrator, she brings over 35 years of practical experience to her work. Today, Dilaine is an AAPC certified professional coder and she has authored several coding and insurance publications. She is a highly sought after speaker and educator, as she creates and leads educational programs to help dental practice owners implement best practices for billing and coding.

In 2022, Dilaine aligned with Kate and EverThrive OSC, where she provides education and support to oral surgery teams on all topics under the medical and dental billing umbrella.

Whether she is leading an educational program, providing consulting services, or speaking about her craft, her commitment to creating expertise in the field is evident. We are lucky to have her on our team!
